ERG Farmimg manages overall stock cover for all its products at reasonable and safe periods. The Business may consider relaxing these comitment at appropriate intervals and enabling some flexibility to balance all our products through appropriate use of storage and livestock facilities. Selling prices will are based on production, operations costs and negotiated with customers taking into account the product and customer needs. All ERG prices are market related and predominantly driven by local SA trends. Development prices may be offered only to South African customers to assist in the growth of the downstream farming industry, where business objectives are served. Prices are compliant with the requirements of the Competition Act (no 89 of 1989) of south Africa. The business improves its customer relationships and target customer satisfaction levels > 80% by developing a culture of customer centricity. Product and livestock storage and distribution/delivery costs are continuously monitored and maintained in line with local domestic benchmarks and maximised through synergies within the ERG Group.

The business is focused on optimising the inbound and outbound supply chain activities, particularly on significant cost items (eg) feed for livestock, fertilizers for the crops as well as animal and poultry madicines. This is achieved by developing relationships with selected suppliers and Service providers, optimising inventory levels of our products, minimising storage, distribution costs and above all effect efficient use of water as water is a scarce resource in South Sfrica.
